Formation

Master in Performing Arts from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid. Degree in Spanish Dance, specialising in Choreography and Dance Performing Techniques; 5th year of Classical Dance from the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza José Espadero in Alicante. Conservatorio Profesional José Pérez Barceló in Benidorm. Royal Academy of Dance in Benidorm; Escuela Karen Taft in Madrid. Took classes at the Centro de Arte Flamenco y Danza Española Amor de Dios with Paco Romero, María Magdalena, Timo Lozano, Belen Fernández, Belen Maya, Rafaela Carrasco, Antonio, Manuel y Cristóbal Reyes, Carmela Greco, and La China. Courses in contemporary dance with Chevy Muraday, Antonio Ruz, Lorena Nogal and Marcos Morau (La Veronal); and flamenco courses with Juana Amaya, Mara Rey, Antonio Canales, Matilde Coral, Manuela Carrasco, Carmen la Talegona, José Maya, David Paniagua, Belén López, Marcos Flores, Manuel Liñán and Manuel Campallo, among others.

Career highlights

She started her career at the tablao flamenco El Corral de la Pacheca and as first artist at the Nuevo Ballet Español, directed by Carlos Rodríguez and Miguel Rojas. She later danced at the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía, the Flamenco Hoy company, directed by Carlos Saura, and the companies of Rafael Amargo, Joaquín Cortés, Carlota Santana, Antonio Najarro, Rubén Olmo, Carlos Chamorro, Jesús Carmona, Patricia Guerrero, Rafael Estévez & Nani Paños, and Dancem Espectáculos, directed by Esther Carrasco. She has danced first artist roles in Rango, with Rafael Aguilar Company; Tauromagia, with Mercedes Ruiz Company; and Esencia y bendita, under the directorship of Rojas & Rodríguez. She has also participated in several zarzuelas that were premiered at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, at the Oman Percussion Festival and has danced at El Corral de la Morería in Madrid, directed by Blanca del Rey. At the Ballet Nacional de España, she has been soloist in Eterna Iberia by Antonio Najarro, and in Antonio Ruiz Soler’s Fantasía galaica.

Other information

In his career as a teacher, he has taught flamenco and stylized dance courses at the José Espadero Professional Conservatory in Alicante, the Association of Spanish Dance Teachers (APDE), the Antonio Canales Municipal School of Dance, the Center for Flamenco Art and Spanish Dance Amor de Dios and the Casa Patas Foundation. She also at International Dance School Flamenco Alicante, World Dance Fair Alicante, Maite Añón Dance Studio, Liverpool de Flamenco.

She has also offered master classes at School of Dance Rosa Martínez, Pilar Segura, Paqui Mora, Laura Daganzo, Mirasierra, Alma de la Riva, Lucero, La Corrala de la Danza, Central de Pole, Daphne Flamenco and Pasión dance studios.
