Degree in Dance specialising in Dance Pedagogy from the Instituto Universitario Alicia Alonso, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. Certificate in Spanish Dance from the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Mariemma in Madrid. Andrés Montemar Dance School. Flamenco courses with Belén López, Manuel Reyes, Eduardo Guerrero, Rubén Olmo, Olga Pericet, Marcos Flores, Mercedes Ruiz, Merche Esmeralda, Manuel Liñán, Rafaela Carrasco, Fernando Romero, Eva Yerbabuena, Joaquín ‘el Grilo’, Miguel Ángel Rojas, Carlos Rodríguez, Rafael Campallo, Antonio Canales; Contemporary Dance with La Veronal; folklore with Jon Maya, Gabriel Feijoó, Miguel Ángel Bernal; singing, tambourine and Galicia traditional dance with Xurxo Fernández; stylised dance with José Antonio, Aída Gómez, Paco Romero, Andrés Montemar.

2002, under the directorship of Elvira Andrés. Promoted to soloist in 2005 under the directorship of José Antonio. 2010, promoted to first artist, under the directorship of José Antonio.

Career highlights

He has performed leading roles with the Ballet Nacional de España in Dualia, Seis sonatas para la reina de España, Danza y tronío, El sombrero de tres picos, Corazón de piedra verde, Aires de villa y corte, Puerta de Tierra, Cambalache, Ritmos, Farruca, Medea, La leyenda, Zaguán, Fantasía galaica, Eritaña, Electra, Sorolla, Suite Sevilla, Alento, Fuenteovejuna and Grito.

Previously, he was part of the companies of Antonio Canales and Carmen Cantero. He also performed as guest artist in the V Festival Internacional de Danza Ibérica de Querétaro (Mexico) and at the 75th Anniversary Gala at the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza in Madrid, in the Teatro de la Zarzuela.
