University Master in Performing Arts from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid. Diploma of Higher Education in Choreography and Dance Performing Techniques from the Conservatorio Superior de Música y Danza in Sevilla. Escuela de Danza Matilde Coral, Sevilla.
1990, under the directorship of José Antonio. Promoted to first artist in 1997, under the directorship of Aurora Pons, Nana Lorca, and Victoria Eugenia. 2012, promoted to guest principal dancer, under the directorship of Antonio Najarro.
At the Ballet Nacional de España he has performed lead roles in Medea, La Gitanilla, Bolero, El Sombrero de Tres Picos, Zapateado de Sarasate, Los Tarantos, Danza y Tronío, Ritmos, Poeta and Fuenteovejuna among others.
Apart from his own company, he has danced in the companies of Antonio Canales (Prometeo), Igor Yebra (Carmen), Ballet Español de Murcia (El celoso extremeño y Póker flamenco), Lola Greco (Maestro, El último encuentro y Farruca), Maite Bajo (Bocabajo and En clave de Danza Española).
He has also performed in the choreographic symphonic concert El amor brujo in Los Angeles; at the Spanish Pavilion in the Aichi Expo (Nagoya); in the Tribute to Maestro Granero at the Bienal de Flamenco in Sevilla; at the Tribute to Maya Plisetskaya in the Festival de los Jardines de Cap Roig; at the Corpus Extraordinary Concert in Sevilla; at the Noche de Ballet gala with Tamara Rojo at Oviedo’s Campoamor Theatre; the Gala Iberoamericana de Danza by the Fundación Alicia Alonso in El Escorial; the Millennium Gala at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York; and the show Mudanzas boleras.

He has combined his artistic career with his interest in education and has given many courses in Spanish Dance in public and private schools and associations both in Spain (Asociación de Profesionales de la Danza de Madrid, Asociación Cantabria Danza Santander, Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Antonio Ruiz Soler de Sevilla, Centro Andaluz de Danza, etc.) and overseas (Japan, USA, Argentina, France, etc.).
He worked as guest teacher in the specialisation of Flamenco at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila in Madrid, 2012.
He was also artistic director of the Canal Sur TV programme Mi primer olé, presented by Pastora Soler, 2010.
