Formation

Conservatorio Carmen Amaya, Centro Andaluz de Danza and Conservatorio Superior de danza María de Ávila.

2013 under the directorship of Antonio Najarro.

Career highlights

With the Ballet Nacional de España she has danced major roles such as Cantiñas de Córdoba (First artist), Concierto de Aranjuez (soloist), Ifigenia (soloist), Eterna iberia (first artist and soloist), Tangos de la Lupi dancing the role of ‘La mejorana’ (soloist), Capricho español (first artist).

She has been part of the Ballet flamenco de Andalucía, Joaquín Cortés’s company, Cia Estévez/Paños, and at 18 made her debut in the company Enclave español dancing solo roles.

Other information

“If there is something that really nourishes me as a dancer is teaching. I have not often been on the other side as I am now focused on my development as performer but whenever I’m asked (even though I find it intimidating) I accept. My teaching experience includes a workshop in Miami, which was part of the teaching series at the Flamenco Festival, a flamenco workshop in Shanghai and Boston. And the oddest one, as it adapted to the new circumstances, was in Spanish Dance and online, included in an Almería’s Junta de Andalucía programme.

Second Prize for Choreography at the Certamen Coreográfico de Madrid 2021. First Prize for Spanish Dance Choreography and Performance at the Certamen Internacional de Almería 2009.
