“Javier Barón is one of the artists that maintains the classical style of flamenco, with a personal and unique character of his own, in which stands out its elegance and naturalness and the flawless of its “zapateado” (footwork), clean and pure”, in Ruben Olmo words. Due to this, the director of the Ballet Nacional de España invited the bailaor and choreographer to recuperate the choreography De mis soleares vengo for the company´s repertory. It won the Giraldillo of Dance Award in the Bienal de Flamenco of Seville (Spain) in 1988.
