First perfomed on the 3rd of April, 2002, Wilshire Theatre (Los Ángeles, USA).
This choreography is named after Juan Sánchez "El Estampío" (Jerez de la Frontera, 1879-Madrid, 1957), whose nickname is due to the way he encouraged himself with his voice whilst dancing. "El Estampío" was a famous flamenco dancer, master of "zapateado" (footwork) and "alegrías", with an extremely personal style of arm-movements.
