"A middle-aged man lives his life immersed in sadness; he thinks he is useless to society, until a young man crosses his path. The young one's energy brings back the man's excitement, as he tries to mold the kid in his ways, transmitting him all his knowledge.
He teaches him old knows, and subjects him to his iron discipline, as he is seeking perfection in everything. He believes he is Pygmalion, and plays at being God. We all receive the teachings of our masters, but we must all remain ourselves, too. This dilemma is difficult to solve; happiness lies in filling our own space, and at the same time seeing our shadow fall outside that space."
