Choreographers

  • Antonio Ruiz Soler

“The Ballet Nacional de España is proud to present this choreographic jewel that the great Antonio and his company first performed 55 years ago. Built around the precious academicism of the bolero school, this is a brilliant display piece for four prima ballerinas who show their personality, skill and grace in each of the elegant virtuoso and masterfully composed castanet variations devised by the great choreographer. Classical nineteenth century style Spanish dance, performed with today’s energy and verve.”
