Guiomar Fernández Troncoso

She has a Master in Cultural Management and Policies from Queen Margaret University in Edimburgh (Scotland – United Kingdom) (2005-2007) and a degree in History from Universidad de Sevilla (1995-2000). She started working in cultural management in 2001 when she joined the management team of the Fundación Río Tinto (Minas de Riotinto, Huelva) as head of the Museo Minero. In 2007, after doing postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom, she joined the team of theatre and company La Fundición in Seville, directed by Pedro Álvarez-Ossorio. In 2009 she became managing director and production manager of Compañía Belén Maya.

In 2011 she set up Endirecto FT S.L., a performing arts production and distribution company specialised in flamenco. Endirecto FT S.L. produced the festivals Flamenco in St. Petersburg (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) and Flamenco in Berlin (2014, 2015). It is also the production company of some of the leading flamenco figures: Rubén Olmo, Patricia Guerrero, Belén Maya, or Mercedes Ruiz, among others. Endirecto FT S.L. has managed the Centro San Miguel en Alcalá de Guadaíra (Seville) since 2018 and in 2019 took on the artistic production of the Festival International de Danza de Itálica.

In September 2019 she became Deputy Direction of the Ballet Nacional de España directed by Rubén Olmo.

She has been a member of the Artes Escénicas de España since 2014.
