Dance Instructor
Diana Noriega qualified in Classical Dance from the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza de Sevilla Antonio Ruiz Soler. After graduating, she started her professional training in classical and contemporary dance at Carmen Roche school and furthered her studies with a grant from the Centro Andaluz de Danza.
She started her career at the Compañía Metros, under the directorship of Ramón Oller (2005-2007). She went on to join the Derida-Dance Company with projects in Sofia (Bulgaria) (2007-2008) and worked in dance companies La tarasca, Plan B Danza, La calabaza, and El velador. In 2009 she got the Mat Pilates qualification from the Asociación Española de Instructores de Pilates in Madrid.
In 2011 she took part in two projects for the Festival Internacional de Danza de Itálica in Sevilla, Upper, with Chinabaus Danza, and Stabat Mater, with choreographer Johan Inger. She was a soloist for the ballet of the opera Aida, choreographed by Ramón Oller and performed at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Sevilla (2013). She also took part in Muk & Move and in creating a piece for the “La noche en blanco” event of Cartaya Festival (2014). In 2015, she worked with the Cienfuegos Danza Company and in Switzerland collaborated with the Tanz Kunst Konigsfelden company, choreographed by Aratxa Sagardoi and Alfredo Bravo in Switzerland.
Noteworthy among her latest projects as a dancer and choreographer are the show Repudiados by Varuma Teatro (2018) and the piece Blanco sobre Blanco for the Museo Ruso (2018). She was also a dancer in the show Dionisio, by Rafael Amargo Company (2018), and collaborated as choreography consultant in the show Vigilia, with the company Varuma Teatro (2019). In June 2019 she was choreographer and guest dancer in the duo Teseo y Ariadna, for the show La muerte de un minotauro at the Festival de Itálica, with Rubén Olmo Company. From 2016 to June 2019, she taught Classical and Contemporary Dance and gave choreography workshops at the Centro Andaluz de Danza.
Since 2019 she has been dance instructor of the Ballet Nacional de Danza, under the directorship of Rubén Olmo.
